Cindy Brewer Megson

Cindy Brewer

Cindy Brewer, RYT

Cindy is a native of Albemarle.  She graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree in Dance and a certificate in Dance Education.  Cindy taught dance in studios and public schools in Albemarle, Charlotte and Atlanta and performed and choreographed professionally.  Several injuries led her gradually toward Pilates and Yoga as a way to both use the body, but be very kind to it as well.  But it was what these two practices did for her esteem and spirit that gave her the need to share it the most.  She received her Pilates Teacher Certification from Leslie Clayton of Body Awareness in Atlanta, GA and her Yoga Teacher Certification from Lesa Crocker of The Bodhi Tree in Charlotte, NC. Cindy and her family have recently moved to Albemarle to enjoy all the beauty and greatness that this community and its people bring.

Anna Allred-Mcgee

After years of teaching various fitness classes, Anna discovered Pilates after sustaining back injuries. Pilates became a source of physical healing for Anna, but she was also drawn to the emotional stress relief and spiritual connection that Pilates provides. Anna received certification from Pilates Certification Center (PCC) in Raleigh, NC. Anna taught elementary school in Stanly County before returning to graduate school where she received Master’s and Education Specialist degrees from UNCG in Counseling. She currently practices as a child, adolescent, and family therapist. As a therapist, Pilates has helped Anna to incorporate a philosophy of caring for the mind, body, and spirit into her work with others. Anna lives in Albemarle with her husband and two young daughters.

Stacey Ransehousen

Stacey discovered Pilates in the late 1990’s and immediately fell in love with the technique of precision, breath and control to strengthen the core.  Her second teacher inspired her to become a teacher.  Stacey became certified in 2002.  She loves the beauty people radiate when they feel strong.  Stacey has been in and out of yoga for years but rededicated herself in the summer of 2006 and became certified at the 200 hour level the following summer.  Originally used for increased flexibility, her studies have encouraged personal and spiritual growth and a more harmonious life off the mat as well.  Stacey loves seeing transformations in her students, both physically and emotionally.  Every body is beautiful, graceful and strong.  Helping students find that in their body is an amazing experience.

Jessy Page

Jessy’s love for helping and inspiring others has had a great impact on her yoga
practice and style of teaching. Her intention for each class is to make everyone feel comfortable in their own practice whether they are beginners or advanced students. To Jessy, yoga is not about touching our toes or bending like a pretzel, but more about the way we connect to our inner wisdom through the asanas.  Yoga has taught her patience, inner peace, loving-kindness and presence.  She completed her 200 hour Vinyasa teacher training with Dolly Stavros of Asmi Yoga.  Jessy’s hope is to share with you what she has learned so that you, too, can pass along this wonderful practice of yoga!

Frankie Schooley

Frankie “If I faced having to give up everything I do but one thing, yoga would be the one thing I would want to keep.”

Frankie has been in the fitness industry for the past twenty years.  Over the span of two decades she has been involved with many different types of exercise.

About five years ago she found herself losing her yoga instructors at Gold’s Gym, so she decided to become certified to teach yoga to eliminate the problem.  Never having done yoga, never caring to do yoga and thinking it was pretty much a waste of time, she headed to her first yoga experience.  An experience it was and one that changed her perspective of the ancient practice.

Frankie lives in Albemarle with her husband, Gary.  They have three “grown” children.  (Term “grown” used loosely.)
